I know, it’s a little late.. but we’re busy, busy, busy at the moment.. Planning parties at Stripclubs and in Glasscherben-Viertels and bringing the Interieur-Do-Over on it’s way, besides finishing the Calendar-Flyers and so on..

However, last weekend was quite nice. Cool Start on Thursday with the Cocolores Guys, Tim Kessler & Mr – it’s always a Pleasure – Mirko Hecktor. Friday was supernice. BTYCL is growing every time and Edu K is hell of a good DJ. Very versatile, always progressive and he likes to play rough but without scaring the crowd off the Dancefloor. What to say ’bout Saturdayayay. Classic! Club packed to the max, People partying till the early Morning and everybody had a good, sorry,  f***in’ good time. Just as every month @ Beastin’ Classic. Pics aren’t available yet… find them soon ova here

Edu K ist Techno. Edu K ist Punk. Edu K ist New Rave und Edu K ist auch Baile Funk. Kaum ein Produzent der Bass Renaissance ist so vielseitig wie dieser Mann aus Brasilien.

Tony Manero aka Edu K stammt ursprünglich aus der Avantgarde Punk Szene Brasiliens und hat einen langen Weg hinter sich bis er bei dem Sound angekommen ist den er heute produziert. Zuerst war es dreckigster Baile Funk mit Punkriffs der ihn über Brasiliens Grenzen hinaus bekannt machte, doch schon im nächsten Moment kam Edu K mit Breitwandsynthesizer-New Rave für die angeschickerte Champagnergesellschaft um die Favela Ecke. Angekommen scheint die Reise bei Bassdrums, stumpf wie Holz, unfassbar groovigem percussionlastigem Techno und minmalen Beatgerüsten mit maximalem Swagger.

Doch eins strahlt Edu Ks Musik immer aus: Sex. Edu K ist Sex-Punk-Techno-Rave-Funk!

Im Sommermonat Juni haben wir den Sex aka Edu K zu Gast bei BTYCL und freuen uns darauf mit euch ein weiteres Mal die Renaissance der Clubmusik zu feiern.
